When Johnny Moran was wondering how to celebrate his upcoming 40th birthday, the idea of hiring a room developed very quickly into "well maybe I'll put a band on as well" and then "wouldn't it be great to have a few bands on". |
The next thing you know an EVENT was born. In association with 'Change 4 Charity' Johnny's Party will now take place on Friday November 20th in the Winter Gardens Spanish Hall.

Set to run between 8pm & 2am the event will have a token ticket price of £5 with all profits donated to the local charity. The entertainment is a friends and relations bill. Mainly bands that Johnny has performed with over the years! Headliners for the night are Manchester based Goldblade, which will see the long overdue return to Blackpool of music ikon and journalist John Robb. Johns first band The Membranes were an integral part of the Blackpool music scene in the early 1980's. Checkout Goldblade outlawTV.com |

Who could forget Thee Phantom Creeps on a night like this. Richard King and the boys have a long association with Johnny with old names The Turnpike Cruisers & Zanti Misfitz.
Next up, Curleys Heroes featuring the birthday boy himself on the drums. The Curleys reformed recently after an 18 year break.
To open the proceedings will be a fully-fledged reformation especially for the party by old faves The Riverside Trio. Theres DJ's, celebrity guests and even a Champagne Bar. More detailed news as things progress.
